Organized by the Carolina Peace Resource Center: Join us for a Gaza Ceasefire Now protest at the SC Statehouse this Saturday, August 10 from 11 am to Noon.  Some signs are provided.

We meet every Saturday from 11 to 12 until there is a permanent ceasefire. 

Israel has killed over 39,000 Palestinians in its onslaught in Gaza, which is closer to genocide than self-defense. Meanwhile, Israel has barred the distribution of food, clean drinking water, medicine and access to medical treatment to a civilian population of over 2 million, 85% of whom have been displaced.  Starvation is being used as a weapon as Gaza experiences famine.

We demand an immediate ceasefire and restoration of humanitarian aid to Gaza. We call on our leaders to suspend arms and support for Israel's occupation. which enables this violence and makes them complicit in Israel's war crimes. We call for accountability for all war crimes. We call for the dismantling of Israel's apartheid system that is oppressing Palestinians and denying them freedom, justice and equality.
